Senior creative production and studio leader with 20+ years of experience across international creative agencies, entertainment and fashion, combining people leadership, creative production and high-end post-production expertise.

Desired position: a Head of Studio, Creative Production or senior Post-Production role combining people leadership, creative input and operational responsibility:

  • Leading and developing a lively, multidisciplinary studio or production team, with responsibility for people, resources, quality and delivery.
  • Working closely with creative teams and contributing proactively to briefs, production solutions, workflows and ways of working, with the mandate to make decisions and drive improvements.
  • Building or further developing studio structures, processes and workflows, including the smart integration of AI-enabled production tools where relevant.
  • Also interested in specialist high-end post-production and retouching environments, particularly where craft, finishing and creative quality are central.

Preferred agency/brand: an international creative agency, fashion or lifestyle brand, entertainment company or specialist production/post-production studio with a lively, collaborative culture and strong creative energy.

Personality/qualities: professional, proactive and entrepreneurial, with strong visual judgement and a natural ability to connect creative specialists, production teams and business stakeholders. Enjoys a lively studio environment, takes ownership, brings structure to complex workflows and combines a people-focused leadership style with a strong sense of creative quality.

Experience: 20+ years of experience across design, studio management, creative production, post-production and creative operations in international agency, entertainment and fashion environments:

  • Built and scaled multidisciplinary studio operations from the ground up, including strategic hiring and leadership of permanent teams of approximately 12-18 specialists, supplemented by larger freelance teams during peak periods.
  • Led studio workload, traffic, resource and capacity planning, estimates, budgets, project scope and delivery across multiple concurrent international campaigns and client accounts.
  • Extensive experience in high-end post-production, including retouching, artwork, colour and image finishing, motion, adaptation, localisation, quality control and final asset delivery across digital, social, print, OOH and special formats.
  • Produced high-profile entertainment title and campaign assets across EMEA, partnering with creative teams, agencies, designers, retouchers and production vendors while safeguarding creative intent and technical quality.
  • Currently works brand-side within fashion, leading end-to-end studio and production planning for global e-commerce, digital and retail content, including seasonal collections and campaign production.
  • Earlier career in design and artwork across international agency and retail environments, providing a strong creative foundation for later studio, production and operations leadership.
  • Develops and improves production structures, workflows and systems, with an interest in incorporating AI-enabled tools and new ways of working to improve efficiency without compromising creative quality.

Accounts: international brands and campaigns across entertainment, fashion, sports, retail and consumer sectors.

Education: diploma in Interior Design & Styling; diploma in Graphics, 3D & Animation; bachelor-level studies in Economics.

Courses: ongoing professional development in creative technology, AI-enabled production workflows and design tools.

Languages: English (fluent) and Dutch (professional working environment).

Employment: open to a permanent role and currently also working freelance; the right role, scope, culture and level of responsibility are more important than salary alone.

Notice period: 1 month.

Commutable region: Amsterdam; open to occasional travel.

Salary indication: approximately € 8.000,- gross per month.
